The RSW Sensitization train at UNILAG: VC Promises Full commitment

The ReadySetWork Sensitization tour stopped at the University of Lagos, Akoka on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 just after the RSW team led by the Special Adviser on Education, Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh made a similar stop at the Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET), Yaba to enlighten and educate the students – the primary beneficiaries of the ReadySetWork project on the plans for 2018 and how they should key in to it.

At LASCOHET, the team was received by the Provost of the Institution, Dr. Moyo Kasim, who recounted the impact the programme has made not just on the students but the institution also. “ReadySetWork has brought the spotlight on our institution seeing that winners of the RSW Business Pitch Competition from the two editions of the programme were from this school”, He said.

ReadySetWork Kicks off Sensitization tour in LASU

ReadySetWork Sensitization tour 2018 kicked off on Tuesday March 20, 2018 in the Main Auditorium of Lagos State University, Ojo campus.

The auditorium was packed full with students and staff of the institution for the event which is aimed at creating awareness for ReadySetWork amongst students as well as educating them on how to maximize the opportunities it offers.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh while addressing the students told them to make the best use of the opportunity. He stressed the fact that they as well as other students in Tertiary Institutions in Lagos State are the most privileged among their peers anywhere in the Country. “The mandate of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to us is to ensure that every student in Lagos State Tertiary Institutions goes through the ReadySetWork Programme and is adequately prepared for the world of work upon graduation.” He said.
