ReadySetWork is Bridging the Skill Gap in the Marketplace

Though it is arguable that some of the privileged graduates of tertiary institutions that have participated in the ReadySetWork training in previous editions esteem their RSW certificate much more than their school leaving certificates – Well, I get that vibe from my interaction with some of my friends. However, the progress the initiative is making in bridging the skill gap in the emerging work-force in Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole is indisputable.

ReadySetWork Students Share their RSW Experience

Just like yesterday, ReadySetWork 2018 started. Students from the 8 participating institutions thronged into their designated training centres to start the RSW 2018 adventure, their journey to self-discovery and development. Looking at their faces, one could tell that many of them had little or no idea what they had signed up for, some simply showed up to see if it will be worth their while or they opt out after few weeks, while some others seemed to be fired up to get all the can from the 13 week training having heard so much about RSW (as it is fondly called) from friends who had gone through the programme in previous editions.
