The Main Auditorium of Lagos State University, Ojo campus on Saturday, July 16, 2016 was alive with students filled with anticipation for another inspiring Meet-A-Mentor session in the ongoing RSW programme.

The students arrivedearly, as usual, to receive the mentor for the day, Mr. John Obaro, Founder, MD/CEO SystemSpecs Ltd. On arrival, he was greeted by the warm welcome of the students, LASU officials,and programme staff. He spoke on the topic, So you really want to be your own boss: Success tips for every aspiring entrepreneur”, challenging the audience to be passionate, creative problem solvers. He shared his own personal journey to encourage the students.

RSW Welcomes Mr. Uyi Akpata in Week 5

It’s a sunny Saturday at Lagos State University (LASU).

For students, it is another day to be inspired and equipped to thrive in the ever competitive world of work. With a sense of privilege at the opportunity to participate in the Ready.Set.Work (RSW) program, students pour into the LASU Main Auditorium with an energy that speaks of their readiness to garner all they can from the RSW experience.

The Main Auditorium is set up in preparation for the morning’s Meet-A-Mentor Session with Mr. Uyi Akpata, Country Senior Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). PwC is a major sponsor of the RSW program, and there is a sense of anticipation in the air as the roomful of students, RSW personnel, and facilitators settle in to await the start of the session with the company’s principal representative.
